But this external subjectivity, thus identical with me, is the <em>will<\/em> of others (<a href=\"https:\/\/grundlinien.de\/en\/73\/\">\u00a7 73<\/a>). &mdash; The ground of the <em>existence<\/em> of the will is now <em>subjectivity<\/em> (<a href=\"https:\/\/grundlinien.de\/en\/106\/\">\u00a7 106<\/a>), and the will of others is at the same time another existence that I give to my purpose. &mdash; The carrying out of my purpose therefore has within it this identity of my will and the will of others &mdash; it has a <em>positive<\/em> relation to the will of others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>The <em>objectivity<\/em> of the purpose that has been carried out thus contains within it three meanings, or rather contains in one the three moments: \u03b1) to be an <em>external<\/em>, immediate existence (<a href=\"https:\/\/grundlinien.de\/en\/109\/\">\u00a7 109<\/a>); \u03b2) to be appropriate to the concept (<a href=\"https:\/\/grundlinien.de\/en\/112\/\">\u00a7 112<\/a>); \u03b3) to be a <em>universal<\/em> subjectivity. The <em>subjectivity<\/em> that <em>preserves<\/em> itself in this objectivity consists, \u03b1) in that the objective purpose is <em>mine<\/em>, so that I preserve myself as <em>this<\/em> particular self within it (<a href=\"https:\/\/grundlinien.de\/en\/110\/\">\u00a7 110<\/a>); \u03b2) and \u03b3) of subjectivity have already coincided with moments \u03b2) and \u03b3) of objectivity. &mdash; That these determinations, thus distinguishing themselves on the moral standpoint, are united only in <em>contradiction<\/em>, constitutes, more precisely, the <em>appearance<\/em>, or the <em>finitude<\/em>, of this sphere (<a href=\"https:\/\/grundlinien.de\/en\/108\/\">\u00a7 108<\/a>), and the development of this standpoint is the development of these contradictions and their resolutions, which, however, within this standpoint, can only be <em>relative<\/em>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>c) Since I preserve my subjectivity in carrying out my purposes (\u00a7 110), I thereby sublate, in this objectification, this subjectivity at the same time as immediate, that is, as this single subjectivity of mine.
