The Kind of Need and Satisfaction<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <em>animal<\/em> has a limited circle of means and ways of satisfying its likewise limited needs. The <em>human being<\/em> proves, even within this dependence, at the same time his going-beyond it, and his universality &mdash; at first through the <em>multiplication<\/em> of needs and means, and then through the <em>division<\/em> and <em>differentiation<\/em> of the concrete need into individual parts and aspects, which become various, particularized, and thereby more abstract needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>In right, the object is the <em>person<\/em>; on the moral standpoint, the <em>subject<\/em>; in the family, the <em>family member<\/em>; in civil society in general, the <em>citizen<\/em> (as <em>bourgeois<\/em>) &mdash; here, on the standpoint of needs (compare <a href=\"https:\/\/grundlinien.de\/en\/123\/\">&sect; 123<\/a>, Remark), it is the concretum of representation that one calls <em>human being<\/em>; it is, therefore, only here, and, properly speaking, only here, that there is talk of the <em>human being<\/em> in this sense.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>a.
