{"id":900423,"date":"2024-05-30T15:20:00","date_gmt":"2024-05-30T13:20:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/grundlinien.de\/?p=900253"},"modified":"2026-08-24T10:30:20","modified_gmt":"2026-08-24T08:30:20","slug":"256","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/grundlinien.de\/en\/256\/","title":{"rendered":"256"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The purpose of the corporation, as a restricted and finite one \u2014 like the separation present in the external arrangement of the police, and its relative identity \u2014 has its truth in the purpose that is <em>universal<\/em> in and for itself, and in its absolute actuality; civil society therefore passes over into the <em>state<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Town and country \u2014 the former the seat of civic trade, of reflection turning in upon and individualizing itself, the latter the seat of an ethical life resting on nature \u2014 and the individuals who, in relation to other legal persons, mediate their self-preservation, together with the family, constitute the two still ideal moments in general out of which the state emerges as their true <em>ground<\/em>. This development of immediate ethical life, through the diremption of civil society, to the state \u2014 which shows itself to be their true ground \u2014 and only such a development, is the <em>scientific proof<\/em> of the concept of the state. Because, in the course of the scientific concept, the state appears as a <em>result<\/em>, inasmuch as it turns out to be the <em>true<\/em> ground, that <em>mediation<\/em> and that semblance equally sublate themselves into <em>immediacy<\/em>. In actuality, therefore, the <em>state<\/em> as such is rather the <em>first<\/em> thing, within which the family first develops into civil society; and it is the Idea of the state itself which divides itself into these two moments. In the development of civil society, ethical substance attains its <em>infinite<\/em> form, which contains within itself the two moments: 1. infinite <em>differentiation<\/em>, extending to the self-subsistent <em>inward being<\/em> of self-consciousness, and 2. the form of <em>universality<\/em> present in culture \u2014 the form of <em>thought<\/em> \u2014 by which spirit is objective and actual, as an <em>organic<\/em> totality, in <em>laws<\/em> and <em>institutions<\/em>, its <em>thought-out<\/em> will.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The purpose of the corporation, as a restricted and finite one \u2014 like the separation present in the external arrangement of the police, and its relative identity \u2014 has its truth in the purpose that is universal in and for itself, and in its absolute actuality; civil society therefore passes over into the state.
