Its initially abstract position \u2014 namely that of the <em>extreme<\/em> of <em>empirical universality<\/em> as against the <em>princely<\/em> or <em>monarchical principle<\/em> in general, a position in which there lies only the <em>possibility of agreement<\/em> and hence equally the <em>possibility of hostile<\/em> opposition \u2014 this abstract position becomes a rational relation (a <em>syllogism<\/em>, cf. Remark to <a href=\"https:\/\/grundlinien.de\/en\/302\/\">\u00a7 302<\/a>) only inasmuch as its <em>mediation<\/em> comes into existence.
