C. Zwang und Verbrechen
Daß mein Wille im Eigentum sich in eine äußerliche Sache legt, darin liegt, daß er ebensosehr, als er in ihr reflektiert wird, an ihr ergriffen und unter die Notwendigkeit gesetzt wird. Er kann darin teils Gewalt überhaupt leiden, teils kann ihm durch die Gewalt zur Bedingung irgendeines Besitzes oder positiven Seins eine Aufopferung oder Handlung gemacht, Zwang angetan werden.
C. Coercion and Crime
In owning property I place my will in an external thing, and this
implies that my will, just by being thus reflected in the object, may be
seized in it and brought under compulsion. It may simply be forced
in the thing, unconditionally, or it may be constrained to sacrifice
something or to do some action as a condition of retaining one or
other of its possessions or embodiments — it may be coerced.
