Some people say the form does not matter; only the matter itself counts. A writer should simply find truths and spread them.
What does this look like in practice? Hegel becomes mocking. People reheat the same old cabbage again and again and hand it out everywhere. And each one acts as if the world had just been waiting for him. As if his truth were new and especially important “at the present time.” Yet what the Bible already says still holds: they have Moses and the prophets. What matters was said long ago.
And then the next one comes along with his truths. They wash away the earlier ones again. And so it goes back and forth.
In this crowd, how does one find what lasts? Not through still more opinions. Only through science, that is, through exact and orderly thinking.
