|282| and goes towards the singular, and that it is absolutely feeling. But this feeling, which goes towards sublating the division of subjectivity and objectivity, must itself present itself as totality, and must therefore be the totality of the potencies.

This feeling a) subsuming the concept b) subsumed under the concept.

a)

When feeling is presented as subsuming the concept, its formal concept is presented: this is properly its concept, which was set out above; that [there are] α) the being-sublated of the wholly absolutely identical, unconscious, the division, and this division as feeling or need β) the difference against this division1) which difference, however, is negative, namely an annihilation of the division; thus an annihilating of the subjective and objective, of the empirical objective intuition according to which the object of need is outside, or effort and labour; γ) the being-annihilated of the object; or the identity of the first two moments; conscious feeling, i.e. one [that] comes out of difference, enjoyment.

The subsumption of feeling under the concept, or the real concept of practical feeling, spread out in its dimensions, necessarily presents feeling a) in its dimensions according to the nature of the form or of the concept, b) but in such a way that in all of them a whole, feeling, remains, and that form is something wholly external to it.
