|252| necessity, which is known as such, which, knowingly recognised as such, is sacrificed to this evil; and thereby also lets all in general partake of their existence; in order to be able to use them; – condemns a multitude to crudeness, to dulling in labour, – and poverty, in order to let others amass wealth, and to be able to take it from them; the inequality of wealth brings it about that it is not begrudged, if great levies are given, lessens envy, and averts the fear of need and of robbery. – Aristocrats who pay no levies stand in the greatest danger of losing it by force, because it has no reconciliation in sacrifice – state power of existence and letting subsist, necessity and letting the singular have his way, who buys it through his reconciliation. – The government squanders its wealth, does not save.

β) In right it is intuited as the essence as thought, earns respect – It likewise leaves the singulars to fraud, to come by their right, and gives them [over] to this confusion of their opinion of knowing themselves as persons, – citizens,
