The passing-over of empirical opinion, and of its mixing of the manifold with the simple, into the concept, is, in the absolute concept or in infinity, taken out of its wavering, and the incomplete separation is decided. In a lower abstraction, infinity is indeed also raised up as the absoluteness of the subject in the doctrine of happiness in general, and, in natural right in particular, by those systems that are called antisocialist and that posit the being of the individual as the first and highest — but not into the pure abstraction it has attained in Kantian or Fichtean idealism.
